Divorce Advice: Communicating

March 17, 2015

The key to an amicable divorce is finding a way to communicate.  Select a communication method where you can remove as much emotion as possible from the facts and be able to think about your responses as opposed to knee-jerk emotion-filled response.  The method will be different for each couple.  Consider texting rather than phone calls; emailing rather than texts; handwriting notes rather than emails.  Using this divorce advice on communication, you can expect conversations by whatever method you select to be more productive in keeping things moving forward as smoothly and easily as possible.
