To reduce the chance or frequency of conflict in your discussions about divorce, first make a list of the 6 areas/issues of divorce . Prioritize the list by degree of anticipated conflict. Begin your discussion with the easier areas and try to deal with only one area at a time before moving on. This plan will help you to stay focussed and have more productive discussions. If you get stuck on an area, leave it and move to the next. It is important to continue in discussions of cooperation and “park” those where cooperation has become difficult for a later time. Using this divorce advice you will experience enhanced cooperative behaviour with each other while progressing forward while decreasing the number of items for which you might need outside help.
